Laminate Finishes Overview
SUEDE OR MATTE FINISH
Is a standard smooth finish. Great for kitchens or baths, it is easy to clean and will provide years of durability and satisfaction.
Is slightly more durable and adds texture and sheen. It tends to "mask" scratching and is available in many popular solids & patterns.
Is appropriate for bathroom vanities ONLY. In more active areas such as kitchens, it's NOT recommended. (Scratching, fingerprints, and limitiations of substrate are highly visible).
Counter Pro, Inc. has the largest in-stock selection of Post Form Vanities, Kitchens, and Bars, with over 70 colors in our "Quick-Ship" inventory, and hundreds of more colors in 3-5 working days.
Color & Pattern Selection
Granite or Speckled Patterns tend to mask wear. They prove to be the best choice for long lasting satisfaction and wearability. Solid Colors tend to show more wear. Although dark solids are dramatic and add contrast, they always show scratches & wear immediately and are not recommended for kitchen coutner top surfaces.
Whenever possible, view larger samples of patterns prior to making final decisions on counter top surfaces. The following laminate manufacturers will provide larger samples by request:
Plastic Laminates provide durable surfaces for today's kitchens and baths. However, these surfaces are limited to minor repairs. Assist in your customer's selection of laminate and help them choose colors & patterns that do not promote the visibility of the laminates limitations.
NOTE: Counter Pro may require a signed waiver form for laminate selections that are not appropriate for kitchen counter top applications. (See Waiver Form and Listing).
